Here is a little about me. I have been writing since I was in the sixth grade (so for quite some time). But I didn't start writing as most authors start. I started not so must for my love for storytelling that I do now, or my love for words. But rather the desire to have a love for them.

 

When I was in the sixth grade I was at a second-grade reading level and words just didn't make sense to me, but I wanted them to, desperately.

 

I used to watch my brother read to my dad for homework and I was determined to be able to do that. And I guess I always had an act for coming up with stories, so I thought the best way to learn how to read was to start writing.

 

So I did. I started writing my first book and I finished the first (of MANY) first draft in the eighth grade, and I was at and even above my reading level, all because of Dark, Light and Love. I found my love for reading and writing and I haven't stopped since.
